The Scottish Society of Fredericksburg will celebrate National Tartan Day in front of the Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop, 1020 Caroline Street, April 2, from 11 am to 3 pm. The day marks the Scottish Declaration of Independence, signed in 1320, which gave them the right to form their military. Attendees can learn about Scottish culture and history plus how to join the Scottish Society of Fredericksburg.
