The Local Events Calendar is reserved for 501(c)(3) nonprofit and charitable organizations. Using the event submission form does not guarantee that your event will be published. Telemedia Broadcasting reserves the right to review, edit, and/or delete any submission. Please do not submit the same event more than once. Events that donate proceeds from for-profit business fundraisers will not be accepted.

Get Rid of Litter!! 3-D Art Contest

All artwork must follow entry guidelines:
- Art must be a 3-Dimensional sculpture
- Art must be made from materials that would customarily be discarded as trash and/or items that can be recycled
- Entries must be submitted to the school art teacher with the contest entry form no later than Wednesday, March 20
- Entries may also be delivered to Brooke Point High School library on Friday, March 22 between 3:00-6:00.
- Pick-up will occur on Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m. for students who wish to keep their artwork. Any unclaimed artwork will be recycled.
The Juried Art Contest prizes will be awarded to the top three in each level:
- Elementary K-5
- Middle School 6-8
- High School 9-12
A Community Choice Award will also be voted at the Festival!
