PUPPIES AND PAJAMAS

Because it was so popular on its debut in February, Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) is making a nighttime tradition of “Puppies and Pajamas.” People of all ages are invited to bring a favorite book to read to the adorable puppies at the ODHS facility from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.
Families, who are invited to dress in their favorite pajamas, will read to the cute puppies that will be decked out in their finest clothes and accessories. Bring a favorite story to read to them, or choose one of the books ODHS has on hand.
Admission is a $10 donation per family or a canned dog food item. These donations will be used to help in the care of the rescue dogs and ODHS’s mission to provide well-matched, permanent homes for animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education. ODHS works to decrease the number of dogs needlessly euthanized by pulling them from high-kill shelters and rescuing them from situations such as neglect, mistreatment and hoarding.
