The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce Drag Me to the Museum: Fredericksburg Ghost Stories. Come join local drag performer, Shenandoah, as she retells some of Fredericksburg’s spookiest ghost stories with a twist. Discover local specters such as Chatham Manor’s Lady in White. Who knew that ghosts could be this glamorous!

Shenandoah (she/her) is a DMV-based drag entertainer and the self-proclaimed “Queen of Wigglesburg.” She has been producing, hosting, and performing in various drag shows since 2021, including her monthly show Nasty Gurlz, her Asian American drag showcase Yellow Peril, and the Little Mx Wigglesburg Pageant. Shenandoah is a senior historic preservation student at UMW and has acted in various musical productions including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Riverside Theatre and Audrey II in Fredericksburg Theatre Ensemble’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Drag Me to the Museum: Fredericksburg Ghost Stories will take place on Friday, October 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the FAM (907 Princess Anne St). The doors open at 5:45 pm. Ticket holders can view FAM’s newest exhibition, Out and About: The Walk-In Closet, before and after the performance. Tickets are $10 for FAM members and $15 for nonmembers.
