Anthem LemonAid – 25th Anniversary
Anthem LemonAid is celebrating its 25th anniversary July 18–20, raising funds for kids battling cancer at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
What began as a small grassroots effort is now a beloved regional tradition, with this year’s event on track to surpass $2 million raised to date—including a record-breaking $239K in 2024 alone.
This year’s ambassador is 11-year-old Ava Lester of Fredericksburg, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia at CHoR. Ava is helping expand the event into her hometown for the first time.
Registration is free and open through July 16. Participants receive a complimentary stand kit and support to host their own LemonAid stand.
