The Downtown Mile – A family-friendly and fun Saturday evening race to support Rappahannock Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) on Saturday, September 10th, 2022.

ALL proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive. Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series: The Downtown Mile is the 8th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.

Location: 402 William St, Downtown Fredericksburg

Race Waves: 

6 pm- Wave 1- Women ages 15 and up – sponsored by Mary Washington Healthcare 

6:15 pm- Wave 2 Men ages 15 and up – sponsored by Atlantic Builders 

6:30 pm- Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14

6:45 pm – Edward Jones Family Final Mile  This wave is open to all ages, families who wish to participate together, parents with strollers, walking participants, etc. This wave is also the SECOND, competitive wave for all runners who wish to add on a second mile at checkout and race again.

. ***NOTE- this race will only be scored towards overall and age group awards if this is your second competitive race. 

Registration Fee: $25, $20 with a no t-shirt option. Shirts are guaranteed for registration prior to Aug 28th, 2022.

Packet Pickup- Friday, September 9th from 4-6 pm at Lucky Road Run Shop,1865 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Race Day Packet Pickup begins at 4 pm.
