This event will be filled with fun, family activities to celebrate Earth Day. Participate in virtual events leading up to the festival and then come to Old Mill Park on Saturday, April 20 for the annual festival. This FREE festival is filled with interactive activities, live music, delicious food, and much more. From citizen science projects to art contests, and live music to live animals, there is something for everyone! Sponsored by Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation, & Events.
Tree Fredericksburg will be giving away 3,000 native seedling trees/shrubs (2-4 ft high) on Saturday, April 20 at the Earth Day Festival. The trees are available for anyone living in the Fredericksburg region. The giveaway begins at 11 a.m. at the Tree Fredericksburg booth at the Earth Day Festival at Old Mill Park and continues until supplies are gone.
