Evening With An Expert: Our Sisters
November 4, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is pleased to announce the return of its lecture series, Evening with an Expert. This year’s program, Our Sisters, will focus on Fredericksburg’s five sister cities: Frejus, France, Princes Town, Ghana, Schwetzingen, Germany, Este, Italy, and Kathmandu, Nepal.
Please join FAM staff as we welcome representatives from each Sister City association for a panel discussion. This discussion, facilitated by Cedric Rucker, UMW’s Associate Vice President & Dean of Student Life, will highlight each Sister City’s unique offerings and provide insight into Fredericksburg’s global connections. From international academic exchanges to local educational events, this program will bring to life the work of our local Sister City associations and work to build broader connections!
This FREE event will take place on Thursday, November 4th from 7 – 8:30 pm at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library in the newly renovated theater, 1201 Caroline Street. As we continue to work to keep our community safe, attendees are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, and maintain social distancing.
