Fall Tree and Shrub Sale Starts Today

Tree Fredericksburg’s Fall Tree & Shrub Sale is on Saturday, September 23rd and will have over 7,000 trees and shrubs for sale. Quantities are limited. There will be 26 varieties of native trees and 20 varieties of native shrubs. Three-gallon trees for sale for $12 and one-gallon trees and shrubs for $6.50. These ultra-low costs are subsided by grants. Sales will start online on Monday, July 17th. Pickup of your plants will be on Saturday, September 23 at the Plant & Play event at the Virginia Credit Union Stadium (Fred Nats Stadium), 42 Jackie Robinson Way, 22401. You or your designee must pick up the plants in person between the hours of 8 am and 11:45 am. No exceptions. No Commercial Sales. In conjunction with the sale, there will be a Plant & Play event in the stadium from 9 am to 2 pm. Enjoy featured speakers on native plants, workshops on plant education, sales of perennials and native grasses, many games for the kids, and much more.
