New! The Mini-Mornings program series introduces young learners (ages 3-6) to our museum spaces. Children and their caregivers participate in a story time and related craft and activity while exploring George Washington’s Ferry Farm or Historic Kenmore.
Join us in June to learn more about gardening at Ferry Farm and to explore shapes in architecture at Historic Kenmore. Check back for future programming dates in July and August.
$12 Admission, children 6 and under free.

Theme: Shapes in Architecture
We will read The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton and look for different shapes around Kenmore. Children will use shapes to create their very own collage!
June 9th at Ferry Farm
(268 Kings Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22405)
Theme: What’s Growing in the Garden?
We will read Growing Vegetable Soup by Lois Ehlert and take a walk through the Ferry Farm garden. Children will plant a mini vegetable garden to take home!
