Puppy Love Yoga

Join the littlest residents of Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) for “Puppy Love Yoga” at the rescue center in Fredericksburg at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 9. The session is open to the public, and guests will have a chance to check out the puppies as they enjoy playtime. Individuals will then participate in an invigorating session of yoga. The event will help ODHS in its mission to provide well-matched, permanent homes for animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education.
“We’ve hosted Puppy Yoga before, and it was so popular that we decided to hold it again,” said Chrissy Blake, founder of ODHS. “Guests will get the chance to meet adorable, adoptable puppies.” “There’s no better way to shake some stress than with meditation music, deep breathing and puppy kisses.”
Puppy Yoga is $20 per person and $30 per couple. Guests are asked to get there early, because there are no reservations. Individuals pay at the door, and admittance will be until the building reaches capacity.
