$5 – $15

Shakespeare on the Lawn at Kenmore
Saturdays and Sundays: July 10, 11, 17, and 18
7:00 p.m.

Shakespeare on the Lawn at Kenmore returns this July with four performances of Much Ado About Nothing. This reimagined take on the Shakespeare comedy will be set in Post-WWII Miami. Hero and her groom-to-be, Claudio team up with Claudio’s commanding officer, Don Pedro, the week before their wedding to hatch a matchmaking scheme. Their targets are sharp-witted duo Benedick Beatrice, a tough task indeed, considering their corresponding distaste for love and each other. Meanwhile, meddling Don John plots to ruin the wedding.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Come early and enjoy your own picnic on the lawn.

Cost: $15 adults; $7 students plus processing fee. Children 5 and under are free.

Optional tours of the mansion will be offered at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. for an additional fee. Space for these tours is extremely limited. Advance ticket purchase for these tours is required.

Purchase tickets online at https://kenmore.org/events/. Call 540-370-0732 x27, or email events@gwffoundation.org with any questions.

In the event of rain, the performances will be cancelled and refunds will be issued.
