The Local Events Calendar is reserved for 501(c)(3) nonprofit and charitable organizations. Using the event submission form does not guarantee that your event will be published. Submit Your Art to the Uniquely Spotsylvania Art Show (Deadline Feb. 23)

Eligibility:
• All artists (ages 18 and up) are invited to apply.
• Artistic works must illustrate scenes in Spotsylvania County, and illustrate the unique Spotsylvania experience.
• Viewers should be able to recognize depicted scenes as specific to Spotsylvania.
• Entries must be original and completed in the last five years. No repeat entries.
• Entry fees must be received by Monday, February 24 to be included in the show. Entry fees are not refundable. Entry fees will not be accepted at library branches. If your mailed check might be late, email graphics.manager@crrl.org.
Submissions are being accepted online February 7-23. The show will be juried on February 24. A list of accepted pieces will be posted to librarypoint.org/uniquely-spotsylvania by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24. Accepted pieces can be dropped off at Salem Church Branch on Thursday, February 27, 9am-8pm; Friday, February 28, 9am-5:30pm; or Saturday, March 1, 9am-5:30pm.
Awards will be announced at the reception on Thursday, March 13, 6:30-7:30 at Salem Church Branch.
Please add up the entry fees ($25 for the first piece, $10 for each additional) and send a check payable to Central Rappahannock Regional Library to:

At the conclusion of the show, artists will be mailed a check for any pieces that sell, minus a 20% commission. Unsold pieces will be available for pickup from Salem Church Branch on Thursday, May 1, 9am-8pm and Saturday, May 3, 9am-5:30pm.
